There is appealing degradation and variation in this study. The shade of red is unusual.

Thanks, TLC. The red is actually orange seen on a cloudy evening.

A cautionary tale involving nature and artifice? Probably just an effective abstract.

A lovely selection of textures here John. I'm intrigued by the amount of staples in the post on the left................

Thanks, Keith. Lots of lost kittens and yard sales to advertise in this neighbourhood.

Great wood textures. I too noticed the creeping plague of staples - also someone put the post in upside down but at least it's not 999, that wood be scary!

Thanks, Maggs. 4 is a scary number in Toronto, so maybe that's why ithye 4s are upside-down. 4 resembles the Chinese character for death; people get their house numbers changed because of that.

Thanks, George. One of those things I just happened to notice -- at last. I've been going past this for months if not years now.
