Superb capture! Love the lone tree against the plain wall!

Thanks, William. At first the tree struck me as a feeble attempt at landscaping, then I finally realized that it greatly improves the view. It provides some relief from the angles. for a start.

Known here as winter, Gerard. Canadians consider Toronto winters mild, but they are cold enough for me. But I guess up in the mountains you get a similar if not colder experience.

Thanks, Jean. As I mentioned to William, the tree was a simple but effective way to improve the view.

Nice use of negative space. Like everyone else, I think that the tree makes the picture - at least much more than it would be without it.

Thanks, Bob. As I mentioned to William the tree provides relief for all the angles, for one thing.

Ah, the thaw..............the worst part of having snow! Great to see the tree claiming it's place in the otherwise industrial scene. Well spotted and taken John.

Thanks, Keith. This insisted on having its photo taken. It's going to thaw more here -- highs of 6C and 7C on Thursday and Friday -- then on Saturday back to a high of -9. Better than -19, of course.

This made me laugh, the tree has a wonderful “look where I am!” stance. Wait ‘til it gets to be summer!

Great minds think alike, Steve. I thought it looked like a dancer at the end of a number. Now that I think of it, it could be a circus performer styling.
