Love this, Fi ! To look into these different eyes is an adventure !

I always find eyes unnerving. I saw Hitchcock’s Spellbound when I was quite young, I think, and the dream sequence where eyes become a curtain, and an eye is cut through by scissors has followed me since. I learned about Dali later, and Un chien andalou with it’s eye/razor. This has a similar feeling, for me. We rarely have to look into each other’s eyes, eyes glance and dance around...mine do, anyway...I’d be worried if this arrived through my letterbox. Were eyes being trained on me?

A powerful piece of work, more colourful and playful than threatening, perhaps, because of its use of bright coloured borders...but still...
