Die Grube Reden bei Schiffweiler hat früher Steinkohle gefördert .Jetzt ist sie ein aussagekräftiges Architekturgebäude des Saar-Bergbaus. Die Grube wird heute noch als Teil der Wasserhaltung im Saarrevier betrieben. Um die Sonne hinter dem Schornstein zu platzieren, muss man natürlich zum richtigen Zeitpunkt vor Ort sein.
