Vitaleta chapel #2 - Cappella di Vitaleta Tuscan 



La cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta è un edificio sacro che si trova in località Vitaleta a San Quirico d'Orcia.

Da essa proviene la statua della Madonna attribuita ad Andrea della Robbia, ora nella chiesa della Madonna di Vitaleta, che si dice acquistata nel 1553 in una bottega a Firenze. Ricordata per la prima volta in un documento del 1590, fu riprogettata sia esternamente che internamente dall'architetto Giuseppe Partini nel 1884, ispirandosi a modelli cinquecenteschi.
