The ruins of Ollantaytambo
Ollantaytambo, Peru is a town and an Incan fortress dating from the mid-15th century. It is located at an altitude of 9,160 feet.
Incan builders did not use mortar and carved the stones to fit.
Somehow, I made it to the top of the ruins. I had to climb in three stages because I was not used to the limited oxygen at that altitude. It was worth the climb, though.
