"MY HEART WILL GO ON"

"MY HEART WILL GO ON"
It is with a very heavy heart and a tear in my eye that I have to let all Casper's friends know he has gone to join Chloe over the rainbow bridge.

We think Casper suffered another stroke in the last week and was very unsteady on his feet and on Wednesday whilst taking him outside I heard a large crack and he screamed in pain, following a visit to the vet he thought he may have bone cancer in his shoulder and we planned to take him for an xray Thursday. Upon waking he was in considerable pain and given he was very unstable on his other legs we took the hard decision to have him put to sleep, this was done at home on the sofa with me and Tracy by his side.

So sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it was for the best and he had a wonderful 14 years.

Unbearable for you both, Alan, to lose another dear friend.
Casper had a marvellous life, one of love and fun, with you all and that memory will always be with you.

Love and hugs
(my faithful cat of 19yrs 6mths and 3 dys died earlier this year, so I have shared that pain)

Pets give so much joy and love but the hard bit is when they have to leave us. I'm very sorry to hear about Casper. He looks so full of life and happiness in this picture. It's a sad time for you. I remember how I felt when my cats died.

I am so sorry to read this. Having lost two dogs in less than a year I know how much your heart breaks at the loss. Treasure the memories. The tears will flow, but they will ease, although never be forgotten.

Poor, poor, Casper ... I am so sad, Alan, knowing so much what such a moment is.
But you know, you took the right decision. It was TOO hard for him.
You and Tracy are very much in my thoughts.
Hugs to you both.

Alan and Tracy.....

You gave Casper the greatest gift of all.... you gave him love and peace.

There is no easy way. Just know that they are the better part of us.

So Casper... Till we meet at the Turtle Pond on the far side of The Rainbow Bridge

Brilliant actions shot of this beautiful Dog Alan. Hugs Tess
. Sad when it come's to that decision. But when suffering so much it's always the right decision. Have had to make the same decision with my last two dogs. First one was poisoned on are local golf course ( trying to control their rabbit population. Second due to heart failure which was not responding to any treatment.
