On the highest level of the old blast furnace in the "Landschaftspark Duisburg". This security guard is chatting with some girls that stand to the left of the photographer, on the stairs that lead to the level.

On the top of the blast furnace monument, that is part of the Landschaftspark in Duisburg, Germany. I think the curved rod is a lightning rod.

What comes to a German's mind when he thinks of Netherlands? This is my first attempt at Dutch cheese art, and it is dedicated to Peri22b, the master of cheese art. :-)

I really wanted to take a candid shot of these three, but they noticed it and posed for me. The guy with the camera was in reality not amused, I think, but he played along.

One of those nicely decorated houses from the 1900s in which everyone wants to live. This was certainly upper class housing, but there also exist matching decorated blocks of working class housing.

Hello to everyone from these snoopy cows.

I'm always fascinated by the tendency of cows to do things together.

Mechanics are working to start the vintage racing car. I believe it's a Porsche 718. I have sharpened the mechanics too. I now think that I shouldn't have done that, because the high-contrast mechanics distract from the car.

At a flight show on Aachen's small airfield. The post processing is somewhat cheesy; but I'm currently addicted to the "Unsharp Mask" filter. I'll get over it eventually.
