Larchmont Village Last Call

Larchmont Village Last Call
A Rotary International lighted clock on the west side of the street in the 200 block of N. Larchmont Blvd., Los Angeles, California

Larchmont Village has become even more trendy and upscale than it was a decade ago (if such a thing is possible). So to bring it down a notch I’d like to point out that it was often used by Columbia Pictures as a location for photographing “The Three Stooges” shorts.

ThorstenCologne, Christina Sonnenschein, James Wiley, Rhisiart Hincks and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Nice shot. Reminds me of a railway station clock and for some reason makes me think of 'Brief Encounter'.

Thanks. At night it doesn't look much like the block of small shops that it really is. And a well-maintained illuminated clock is a rarity (at least in Los Angeles).

I feared that the illumination from the center to the edge of the clock dial wouldn't be sufficient. But the Agfa APX-100 film performed extremely well. It gets all the credit.
