Amanita Gemmata

Amanita Gemmata
Though common throughout Europe I have not seen this before here in Thetford Forest. Related to Amanita mascaria, (Magic Mushroom or Fly Agaric), both are toxic hallucinogenic specimens and shouldn't be eaten.

+Pattycake+, Roger Bennion, John Linton have particularly liked this photo

Great focus and love how it stands out from the background, Maurice. Excellent composition and a fave for me.

Nice photo.
I get these in my garden (Garden used very loosely) as it is more like a wilderness.
