Utah is just seriously scenic. All those dramatic and colorful deserty mountains... This was at one of the scenic rest areas right off the highway; it was hard not to stop at all of them. ;) (much of the scenery I was driving through was very Minecraft-like, and I did halfway expect to see a skeleton hiding behind that tree...)

I don't think it would be a good climate for starless Wendi. He might turn into jerky. ;)

Great place to visit =) Never been there but luckily we have few (remotely) similar places here. In much smaller scale of course, but still rather nice and impressive.

Also probably colder. ;) I need to go back someday and spend a lot more time there... This time I was just passing through (driving home from California), so mostly I just got to see the bits visible from the road... :)

Thanks! :) It was my first time, and I was really only passing through, with a quick detour through Bryce canyon (or, what from the map looked like it would just be a quick detour, but wound up being the entire rest of the day ;) )... I definitely need to go back and actually spend some time there. (There's an entire valley full of goblins! How did I never know that?!)

That's some great scenery! My brother lives in Utah, but the one and only time so far I've been there was when they were having the worst blizzard in over 25 years. Needless to say, it was almost too cold to get very many shots.

...not that I would ever do anything like that, even if there hadn't been too many witnesses... ;)
