I very rarely put up three shots at once, but this set goes together.

This was one busy seagull, getting his fill of gaspereau (a type of herring). He had just caught the fish and was moving towards the bank.

One of my favorite times to shoot along the Petitcodiac River is a couple of hours before sunset. The Petitcodiac River also gets a tidal bore, roughly twice a day, which corresponds to the leading edge of the high tides in the Bay of Fundy pushing up the river. The next hour or so after the bore goes by, the river will be filled to capacity with salt water. The hour or so before the bore's arrival, is when the river is at its lowest, and the bird life goes fishing, when the fish are running.

Taken at the Hall's Creek Bridge, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada on 4 June 2013.
