Historic railroad bridge (now pedestrian and bike) over Cherry Creek. There 'railroad cars' are actually painted wooden structures on the bridge that is just past the first bridge seen here.

Boat lock on Cherry Creek along downtown and LoDo Denver. For 10 years up until 2013, dams were raised (see related pictures) during the summer and gondola rides were available on Cherry Creek. The rides were stopped due to a need to update the locks. The locks and dams look older than 10 years.

Sign at dam on Cherry Creek, which is along downtown and LoDo Denver (see related pictures). If you look closely on the left you can see how the dam (a metal plate) can be raised to a metal stop so as to deepen the channel.
