Eureka waterfront (#1034)

Eureka waterfront (#1034)
Sunset over the Samoa Peninsula. The structure on the peninsula, on the left, is a lumber processing plant of some type which appears to be idle, though at previous times I have seen large stacks of logs on the property.

I like these shots from Eureka, I'll make it to down to visit there myself at some point. This sunset turned out rather nice I think.

As an older industrial town with some revival, it's interesting. It's not worth a trip on its own, but the entire north Calif. coast is worth a week or so. My "California Central and North Coast" album shows quite a bit of it, plus lots of areas further south.

I saw this one and thought for a second that you'd gone to Springfield.
