There isn't a whole lot to see in the small towns along I-15 in Utah. I caught this only because I had checked the Living New Deal website before heading on the trip to see where I might get some pictures that would help them. Hurrah for the Carnegie Libraries! Their only architectural faults (besides, perhaps, their many steps) were that they were complete, not easily expanded. And all libraries grow and grow...

I hadn't thought about that issue, of being not good for additions. What has always impressed me about them is how they give a sense of dignity to the processes of knowledge acquisition.
