Hamburg St. Pauli Elbtunnel (#2887)

Hamburg St. Pauli Elbtunnel (#2887)
There are two tunnels, each this size. They seem tall, but that's becuase they were built for horse-draw carriages with drivers. "Schritt fahren" means to drive slowly.

Did you go to the south end of it and took a look at the "typical postcard" - view of Hamburg?
One other remarkable think at the tunnel was that there is leftside-traffic for cars... ;-)
And - well - these signs at the pedestratian - ways, lol, made for tourists because they are going on both sides in both directions which cause some trouble if a car is coming, lol. So they painted these arrows, lol.

Ahm, and a personal question: Are both tunnels re-opened or just still one? (curious to ask this someone as I was just five minutes by bike away from it)
