Poland, Krakow Rynek Główny (#2284)
Eros Bendato, by Igor Mitoraj, a famous Polish artist. There is debate about such contemporary art (created in 1999) in the square. I'll admit that it seemed odd to be there and I could not figure out the symbolism, but to me it also somehow fit. An empty head on its side, wrapped, seemed to be possibly some commentary on the commercialization of the square.
