SF Dogpatch waterfront (0990)

SF Dogpatch waterfront (0990)
Remains of what was once the very busy SF waterfront. This immediate area has been referred to as 'Dogpatch' since WWII (there is no explanation for the name).

Every city in the U.S. has an area like this. In SF they're tiny, Detroit it has become huge. That's capitalism...

We have them in France too, but not realy in the place where I live. As soon as a fabric close, it becomes a library, or flats.... So it is interesting to see such decaying place.... nevertheless it is very sad for the people who worked there
