South SF Union Pacific (0979)

South SF Union Pacific (0979)
Former Cotton Belt diesels, at the Caltrains station in South San Francisco. "Cotton Belt" was the nickname for the St. Louis Southwestern Railway, which was controlled by the Southern Pacific from 1932; the Southern Pacific was bought by the Union Pacific in 1996, but some locomotives continue to have portions of their original color schemes.
