Dog Inn & War Memorial, Norton

Dog Inn & War Memorial, Norton
Norton is a village in the Mid Suffolk district. The name means northern town or farm. It is located close to the A14 and its nearest railway station is at Elmswell, just over 5 km away. The closest towns are Stowmarket, 13 km away and Bury St Edmunds, around 16 km away.

Standing at a crossroads on the Ixworth road, the Dog Inn is a 17th century public house with open fireplace and oak beams. The village war memorial stands in the corner of the Dog's cark park.
