55 003 at Kyle?

55 003 at Kyle?
55003 "MELD" was named in honour of the racehorse of the same name. The filly "MELD" won the 1955 St. Leger. The metal version was "stabled" at Finsbury Park in North London and was withdrawn at the end of 1980.
When 55022 "Royal Scots Grey" entered Springburn works, in January, for a repaint, it was decided to change the Deltic's identity for a while. Apart from the obvious number and nameplate changes, the white window surrounds, only applied to FP machines, were also added.
The team at Springburn have done a great job and the Deltic looked very impressive at the head of Scotland's poshest train.
