The posh end of the Royal Scotsman at Plockton

The posh end of the Royal Scotsman at Plockton
The observation car (99965) was built in 1960 by Metropolitan Cammell as Pullman Kitchen car 'Snipe', and was acquired by GS&WR (Great Scottish and Western Railway Co.) in 1989 and converted into the Observation Lounge car in use today. Unfortunately, depending on direction of travel, the verandah can be directly behind the loco but from Kyle to Carrbridge it is on the rear of the set. On a morning like this, surely this must be the best seat on the train?
