Located in the Tibetan plateau, the “cold desert” shelters the spring of the Sindhu, the Sanskrit name of the Indus River.
In the vinicity of this river system started the genesis of South Asian civilization, one of the most fascinating yet mysterious cultures of the ancient world, usually called Harappan after its chief city, it rivals Sumer and Egypt as humanity's oldest approximately 6000 BC.
The Sindhu is a long important river in Asia, running 2,900 km (1,800 mi.) from the Kailash Mountain in Tibet to Arabian Sea in Karachi, Pakistan.
Harappa was located in Punjab but the city vanished from history.
it was "lost" or forgotten, even by the people who lived in the vicinity of its sand-covered ruins.
This picture was shot in the Himalayan hills where the source of what provided a cradle of Humanity is only freshwater trying to find its way through pebbles and rocks.
