Golden Prayers for L'Aquila 

Solidarietà alla popolazione abruzzese...

There was a strong earthquake (6.3 on the Richter scale) in Italy last night at 3:30 am, which killed and hurt many people, it also damaged several buildings and monuments.
It was felt across the whole of Italy but most of the damage surrounds the city of L'Aquila where more than 4,000 buildings have collapsed.

I was working on this image when I heard the sad news.
This picture was shot along the Ganges in Varanasi (Benaras).
All my sympathy goes to the victims and to my friends who live there.
My prayors are with them.
