Warrington’s Own Buses 203 (CH12 CAT) in Lymm - 28 Mar 2019 (P1000794)
Thursday 28 March 2019 (1330) – Warrington’s Own Buses is the municipally owned bus company of Warrington Borough Council. During 2018 the ‘Cheshire Cat’ branding was introduced on some of the services. 203 (CH12 CAT), an Alexander Dennis Enviro200D MMC new in April 2018, was seen at Lymm (Cross) when working the 1301 CAT5 service from Altrincham to Warrington.

Not connected to the Yorkshire Tiger is it! They seem to favour blue and orange - perhaps not on the same vehicle, but still! I see them on the 526 route.

526 - Yorkshire Tiger! :-) The blue one's have another name that I can't recall, but still the same thing! I don't actually know who they are or why they would want to run that route, First used to but ditched it!

Yorkshire Tiger is an Arriva company and they operate some two tone blue buses on services to Leeds/Bradford Airport branded 'Flying Tiger'. They are perhaps those you are thinking about.

The Warrington business and the Tigers business are not connected. However, the visual similarity is that the same design studio designed the brandings.

I thought it looked familiar!

I may have seen one of those mixed coloured ones at some time - I suppose like most companies they send whatever bus is available at times! Mostly they are orange, occationally blue.

I didn't know they had anything to do with Arriva (though I have thought that Wakefield Bus Station has - it's a very similar bluish-green to the buses)! :-) I do seem to think that Yorkshire Tiger has something to do with Huddersfield, not sure why - perhaps is says so on them somewhere!
