Tuesday 4 July 2017 (1152) – Go-South Coast (Southern Vectis) 1526 (HW62 CMU), seen at Freshwater Bay when working the 0945 ‘Island Coaster’ service from Ryde to Yarmouth, Isle of Wight. It is primarily a tourist related service but also carries local traffic operating along the east, south and west coast roads of the island. In the early and late seasons there is just the one morning trip from Ryde and one afternoon returning to Ryde. During the high season (summer school holiday) period there are more trips. We travelled on this bus from Ventnor. An Alexander Dennis Enviro400 new in December 2012 which carries the Vectis Blue livery applied to vehicles in the private hire and school transport fleet.
