DSCF8521 By bus to the Red Jet - 3 Jul 2017 ....... 18 of 20
Monday 3 July 2017 (1531) – Go-South Coast (Southern Vectis) 2716 (HW64 AXH) seen just after leaving the Red Jet fast craft terminal at Cowes working service 1 to Newport. The company employs short length Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200s this service because of the tight access to the terminal through a narrow archway from an equally narrow High Street. The exit from Town Quay into the High Street is only marginally better. Vectis was the name the Romans gave the Isle of Wight, a name carried by both the bus and the pub on the right.
