DSCF8522 By bus to the Red Jet - 3 Jul 2017 ....... 19 of 20
Monday 3 July 2017 (1531) – Go-South Coast (Southern Vectis) 2716 (HW64 AXH) seen turning from Town Quay in to the High Street just after leaving the Red Jet fast craft terminal at Cowes working service 1 to Newport. The company employs short length Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200s this service because of the tight access to the terminal through a narrow archway (just visible by the ‘No Entry’ sign near the front of the bus) and only a marginally better route of exit. Vectis was the name the Romans gave the Isle of Wight, a name carried by both the bus and the pub on the right.
