Sunday 21 August 2016 – AEC-Park Royal Routemaster 5 CLT, former London Transport RM1005, has recently been fitted with a Cummins lSB4.5 engine to comply with the latest emissions regulations. Owned by former Transport for London Commissioner Sir Peter Hendy since 2007 it is now the oldest bus to meet Euro 6 emissions levels. The driver’s control panel and pedals have been upgraded to align with the new technology. A participant at the ‘Buses Festival’ held at the National Motor Museum, Gaydon organised by ‘Buses’ magazine. The destination display is from the previous day when the bus took part in the Imberbus event in Wiltshire.
