Mulleys Motorways YN54 VLE - 26 Oct 2005

Wednesday 26 October 2005 (approx. 1014) – On Monday 24 October 2005 Suffolk County Council made a number of changes to its contracted bus service operators which saw Mulleys Motorways become the contracted operator of service 358 between Bury St Edmunds and Thetford via Red Lodge, Mildenhall and Brandon. The service had previously been worked by Burtons Coaches. Limited.

For the increased work Mulleys added YN54 VLE to the fleet, a Turkish built BMC Falcon which had been new to Coopers of Killamarsh in October 2004.

It was seen loading outside the Bussens and Parkin store in King Street, Mildenhall where buses and coaches picked up during the period of construction of Mildenhall bus station (January 2005 to January 2006). This was the 0958 service from RAF Lakenheath to Bury St Edmunds.
