Saturday 14 June 2008 (0840) - Drawbar trailers boost passenger capacity at busy times without the need for extra staff and fuel costs. The couplings and connections between trailer and bus are shown here. Verkehrsbetriebe der Stadt Luzern (VBL) trailer number 303 (new 1998), with body built by Hess (fittings by Lanz and Marti) was being pulled by trolleybus 271, a Hess bodied NAW with Siemens electrical equipment, new in 1989. It was seen at Luzern Bahnhof when working the 0826 service 8 from Hirtenhof to Würzenbach.
