Can you imagine if the French had failed to return to Vietnam after WWII, and America had No Reason to Support the French back in 1954 at Dien Bien Phu.

I was Talking with My Broter-In-Law's Wife's Grandfather a few years ago, and he was a C-119 Aircraft Pilot with the USAF. He Flew Support Supply missions to the French Troops in IndoChina, and His Aircraft was the Last Mission of Supplies to the French Garrison at Dien-Bien Phu in 1954, I believe.

A Few Years later, some of our American Troops arrived in South Vietnam in the early 1960's as the Communist in the North were Flooding the South with Secret Agents (Our Intel Ops believed the Numbers were well over 10,000 Communist Agents). These Operations Soon changed the Dynamics of the Political Life in the South. If the French had never been there, We would Never had Been There. We Both Lost Too Many Good Men. Vietnam was Going Communist - Whether the French or Americans were there to Stop Them.
