Lookout from Mt Mee

Lookout from Mt Mee
to the Glass House Mountains and the Bay.

We stopped at the lookout on Mt Mee on the way home from the Abbey Tournament today.
I jumped out of the car quickly ad took a couple of shots before diving back into the warmth of the car.

Well it was probably around 13C or so, minus the wind chill of 4 or 5 degrees, so the apparent temp. where I was, would have been 8C-ish. Cold for wearing a short sleeve cotton shirt in anyway!

Beautiful shot!
But that doesn't look particularly cold. OK, wearing a short sleeve shirt makes it colder ;)

Thanks Nicole, well it was cold by our standards. Summer here is in the mid to high 30's, so anything below 15 is cold ;-) Earlier in the day it was quite warm, probably around 20-23C and in the sun it was warm enough to get away with short sleeves.

I personally like colder temperatures, since one can put more clothes on to stay warm. Unlike unbearably hot temperatures where you can walk around naked and still feel like you're about to drain away like a puddle.

Winter skies are the best, crisp, cool and some lovely blues. Summer tends to be too hot and the blues are more pale.
