Ohhh man, these ants are crazy! You can also find some (like I did last night) at the entrance to holes the diameter of your thumb in mud banks in rainforest. When you wave something near them, about 5 jump out of the hole, and get angry very quickly, jumping all over the place. Nasty.

Yeah, aggressive little buggers. I once accidently hit their nest with the brushcutter and flung some on me - they got inside my jeans and by gawd the PAIN!
