Fly on a leaf 


While on our macro meet yesterday we came across many flies of all sorts of colours, mostly sitting on leaves. Here's one of the more "standard" ones.

I'm thinking this is one of the many Blowflies in Australia. They can usually be identified by their shiny body.

Annoying they are, but if nothing else, in one morning I've seen more varieties of fly than I knew existed.
