Oh, I see them well enough ... maybe too well ... given my innate resistance ;)))

This text passes for a dark and ironic, gently self-mocking, humour in my sensibility, dear Mo. I am laughing at my inabilty to follow the obvious path, to deviate along the winding byways, to stop and sniff the flowers, to savour the colours and textures in my head, to dally in distracted confusion, to be lost in a world of the sensory, the imaginary, the impossible dream, ... to disregard the blindingly bleedin' obvious straight and narrow :)

... and, goddess help me, I love being - so quietly - that way!

The Muses are brushing their lustrous hair and smiling into silvered mirrors. Sweet notes of the lyre and birdsong. Poets are forgotten.

For a while now, lost in my own experience ... drifting away ... maybe I will swim back and tell you all about it *soon*

Don't mind to be lost in a sensory and imaginary world. The dreams live right there, Dave! You know it better than me. You are a dream's expert!

I wait you add this dreamy picture into the group. Thanks.

It is best to live the way you do. I do it too. I love the image. Straight paths are sometime necessary before the crooked one comes up around the bend! :-) XXOO

I am so easily distracted that following a straight route is nigh on impossible ... there is always something interesting and wonderful just off the path. Being naturally curious, I have to go and look ... and then that in turn leads to another distraction :) ... it's a great navigation system with no end point in sight!

... and I meant add ... 'Lost' is a positive state of being ... as in 'lost in wonder'!

I like that idle way of yours to follow what is coming...and as in my eyes,as hasard doesn't exist , what comes is always what you are and what you can wellcome and live . How much I do agree with you in your way of eluding and avoiding straightforward and linear plans and roads...What swerves aside is so much more fullfilling and alive...that's the translation and origin of the latin word : seducere : to seduce, to change the original and planned road...

I never knew that ... seduction ... so much better than reduction :) and more fun than induction and deduction ...
so, I shall live the seductive life!
... and ductile, hmmm, it's all making sense now.
Thanks, Christel!

the trees will safely guide you along this path and shelter you, but only till the end of this path. from there on, you're on your own. freedom, but also insecurity.

"Freedom's just another word for nothing' left to lose:
Nothin' ain't worth nothin' but it's free.
Feeling good was easy, Lord, when Bobby sang the blues.
Feeling good was good enough for me;
Good enough for me and Bobby McGee."

heh heh! :)
