Mossy Thoughts

Mossy Thoughts
And there by zephyrs, streams, and birds, and bees,
The moss-lain Dryads shall be lull'd to sleep;
And in the midst of this wide quietness
A rosy sanctuary will I dress

- from 'Ode to Psyche', Keats

okay it's my second time studying this one ;-)
I see or *think* I see so many things
but then I second guess myself
and ask "am I just imagining this"
but this is the allure of course :-)
the mystery always the mystery and intrigue :-)

two of my favourite words: allure and mystery ... darkness is another ... sensuality, dream, seduction ... love and soul. Winged Psyche wears the horn-ed moon.

I like chosing a verse out of your Keat's poem
I like that slow moving and harmonious even music of the poem

al lthose ll letters as a lullaby sound ..I love the way nature is love and woman goddess craddle altogether as in the Pantheist way

Thank you ... that gives me a very warm image/feeling ... just holding is one of the deepest loving experiences, I find.

... an open book waiting to be read ... perhaps the opposition of a midsummer night's dream? a winter solstice reality? ....

the moss on the tree does not fear the talons of the hawk,
it's a survivalist, does not fear the winter too........

... moss is indeed a survivor, evolved and adapted, having been on the planet much longer than we humans. I love the way it can dry to a crisp, seemingly dead, and be brought 'back to life' by a little water ... metaphorically pleasing also, I find :)
