The process of naming what we perceive. Is this a rock, a rose and driftwood? An eye or a yoni? a juxtaposition of colour, light and shade? or do you feel the textures, the hard and the soft, the grain and the soft smoothness? Can you catch the scent of the rose? the scent of the yoni, perhaps?

It is, of course, up to you. You will experience what you do.

I call it pleasure, beauty found ... beauty realised and captured.

To share, to make more beauty in the world. Or perhaps just to bring one small instance to the attention.

I don't have any answers but thenI am not sure of the questions.

I do trust the feeling though.

So far I know you...your poetic prose doesnot surprise me. I feel what you say. From one attentive vagrancy sighting always result "random thoughts", and / or strange feelings / emotions which enrich our lives. Sorry for the commonplace!

Many random thoughts flying round my skull at the moment. Like a flock of frightened birds crying for my attention. I slept badly and long. No work today. And yet, as you say, out of this storm comes enriching magic. Thank your continuing support and witness.

Quite right, the scent was eyes-rolloing-back heavenly! Similar to 'Gertrude Jekyll' (rhymes with treacle) but this is another centifolia variety, older. I brought cuttings back and they have rooted so fingers corssed. I have GJ in the garden here but that is much more vigorous. This one has a lax habit about one metres high and spreads by suckering. Will have to organsise more translatlantic plant exchanges!

Ooh I have Gertrude Jekyll- thanks for telling me the proper pronunciation of her name! My yard has few spots sunny enough for roses so I don't have any others. Hope your cuttings take root. Garden 'volunteers ' are great! my gardens have gone quite wild. Not sure if there's anything unusual enough to trade. I'll let you know in the spring!
