I thought this was an interesting setup here. A 4.8 kV line is branched right off of a 23 kV pole (with stepdown transformers of course), and then metered on the next pole. It supplies a senior housing complex that apparently maintains its own electric lines.

ive seen a lot of DTE do that sometimes on their 4.8kv delta grid by converting two live lines into a circuit with one live and one ground...ive always been curios as to what the kv is when they do that. ive also seen DTE use buck booster transformers near hospitals too.
