Here's a nice old pole from the Connecticut Power Company! They ran large multiparts like these on much of their 13.2kV and 23kV systems.

This pole is also close to a cement plant, but the large multiparts have been found elsewhere on CP's 13.2kV system, making me believe they were standard.

UPDATE
Looks like this pole has lost its street lamp!

Did they use those same bolt-on pins that CP did?

By the way, next time I head up to this area, I've got plans to photograph an early 7.6kV single phase line that branches off of this one--it's REAL cool. It uses the same big multiparts and is on bayonet ridge pins. I suspect it was built in the 1930's.

Not the bolt-on pins, but they evidently ran 22-24kV in the flat style.
