Here was a wideload motoring past the St. Marys Conquest on the Kinnickinnic River, with distant Nidera. What a world.

According to the people at the website boatnerd.com — who annoyingly refer to boats as "she" and "her" and I wish they would learn to stop that! — the barge St. Marys Conquest was built in 1937 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, as a steam-powered tanker and was converted to a cement-carrying barge in 1987. It is currently owned by St. Marys Cement.

Meanwhile, there goes that little tugboat.
