Good young tree.

Good young tree.
I feel proud that, in my opinion, I successfully composed the photo such that the entirety of the tree's crown is backdropped by the expanse of cinderblock wall.

According to the North Carolina Forestry Association, "the crown, which consists of the leaves and branches at the top of a tree, plays an important role in filtering dust and other particles from the air. It also helps cool the air by providing shade and reduces the impact of raindrops on the soil below."
