E. Idahoan porcupine out in the wild, up a tree sleeping and waiting for the nighttime.

E. Idahoan porcupine out in the wild, up a tree sleeping and waiting for the nighttime.
It tries to blend in with the twiggy brushiness it inhabits but it's still pretty easy to see up there. It wants to try to look distantly elegant. Porcupines are famous for their loneliness because everybody is scared of their painful barbed quills.

People and animals alike suffer frightening nightmares where they get ganged up on by porcupines and skunks. Sometimes skunk-themed nightmares are triggered by farts during sleep.
