I can see across the freeway, over into the next neighborhood.

I can see across the freeway, over into the next neighborhood.
But the shiny wooden antinoise wall stops people from needing to listen to the terrible superhighway noises, it's a pretty nice setup! I feel that the wall reminds me of old barns.

The freeway & its antinoise barrier are the frontier between the "Whittier neighborhood" and the "Phillips neighborhood" but nobody cares about that. Least of all, demographers and statisticians.

In south Minneapolis on March 7th, 2010, a view from the southwest corner of 4th Avenue South and East 24th Street, under a pedestrian bridge crossing Interstate 35W and connecting the "Whittier neighborhood" (foreground) and the "Phillips neighborhood." There's one of the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority's "5th Avenue Highrises."
