Blick (Richtung West) über die drei Ebenen des Querbahnsteiges, der 270 Meter misst. - Leipzigs Hauptbahnhof war um 1912 der größte "Verkehrsbau" der Welt, nach Sanierung und Umbau 1998 nur noch flächenmäßig größter Kopfbahnhof Europas, da die Gleise 25 und 26 in ein Parkhaus umgewandelt wurden. Im Querbahnsteig könnte die RMS Titanic komplett untergebracht weden.
