Well hello stranger! Nice surprise to see your name pop-up.:)

Hope you are staying ahead of the virus along with your family & friends.

First the dreadful virus throws the world upside down and has us just getting out of lock-down mode and now here as elsewhere around the world we are dealing with a violent protest surrounding the murder of George Floyd. It's been going on for 14 days and nights. What a tragic mess.

Hi Chris - all well thank you - until last week I hadn't taken a shot since the end of September last year - just completely lost my mojo, but I am trying to get back into it now and finally got a decentish shot for the Saturday Self-Challenge on Flickr - www.flickr.com/photos/paulcowie/49975989711/in/dateposted
The protests finally reached here today with our ultra left wing EFF party jumping on the bandwagon with protests all over the country. All very sad and the whole thing so unnecessary in the first place! Keep well!

Well I think it is a superb image for the challenge Paul. The blue/orange and white really adds to a very pleasing photograph. Add in the ripples and roping makes one take the time to explore what lays waiting to be seen. Glad to hear that you have picked up the camera again!! This virus, the protests over police brutality, racism, discrimination, severe weather changes and political concerns really do make the mind go into a hold mode. Too many serious issues to tackle all at once and yet they have all need immediate attention. Hopefully your protests can be peaceful demonstrations.
