TSC Birds

I think the birds got the memo that we are out looking for birds as they all seemed to be nowhere to be found. The ever faithful Pigeons appeared on the chimney of the Robert E. Lee Hotel at the end of morning long search.

PIP is a young Blue Bird at the birdbath (archive shots allowed this week)

Both best on Black.

Heidiho, LutzP, Kenny, mixpix and 14 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well for many of us they were certainly not around. :( Bet if we did this challenge in the Spring we would be having the challenge of deciding which one of our shots to post. lol

Goodness Isa, thank you so much for the lovely comment. I used to enjoy the blue birds at our other house as the birdbath was just on the other side of the window next to work desk.(kept a camera next to the computer so I could get a good shot of them as the splashed around. Lots of other birds came as well but the Blue Birds really enjoyed their water time. :) xx

Thanks Gillian, The in the note is an archive shot that I reworked for the challenge, didn't feel right using it as the main entry even though it would have been allowed this week. The little blue guy is one of my favorite shots of them at bath time. :) Thank you for the nice comment. :)

...love the texture, Chris. We call them Rats of the Air

Clickity Click has replied to LutzP
Both the comment and the fave are really appreciated Lutz. Folks here call sea gulls Rats ... they can, like the pigeons be quite a nuisance. We don't have many pigeons in town and no sea gulls unless we go closer to the sea or lakes. Have a good week. :)
