TSC:

combined challenge:

Processing

Shoot something from 3 different angles

Convert the 3 pictures to monochrome (doesn't have to be B&W - see link)

Arrange them in a triptych

*Monochrome: Monochrome simply means ‘of one color’, and what that color ends up being, is entirely up to you.

*Triptych can show different perspectives of the same scene or be used for comparisons or then-and-now type of presentations.

I decided upon one of my Lladro Porcelain Figurines

Curious Girl - retired

Spanish Porcelain

Issue Year: 1978
Sculptor: Francisco Catalá
Size: 9¾ x 3½ "

While the figurine along with the photography is mine, all copyrights for the figurine remain with Lladro

Diederik Santema, Gisela Plewe, * Didier 85 *, Malik Raoulda and 20 other people have particularly liked this photo

She is beautiful, just like her companions. Really like the softness of the colors. Well done, my dear. XX

I like the connection you create here between the three images and the choice for three different monochromes

thank you Luc, I was hoping the perspective on the side images would help in connecting the three images. :)

Very nice and creative details on this triptych, like the grey areas on side images, grey divider between images, and tight compositions. I like =)

thank you Karen, she is one of three that I have. The original color of the figurine is soft pale green and is very soothing to see. :)

...well presented as a high key photo, Chris. I understood all three should be the same color, but I guess that was a misunderstanding on my part.
Clickity Click has replied to LutzP
thank you Lutz. When Frag and I were talking about my suggestion to do three different angles of the same object and then use monochrome tints we didn't discuss whether it should be one or three. I guess I assumed it could be one of three. So I think we both looked at that part of the challenge in a different way. :)
EDIT:
Lutz I went back to the challenge discussion page and in the comments, it was indicated that each of the three images could be a different monochrome color. :)

Sweet figurine, the colours suit it. I thought it was supposed to be one mono colour for the whole triptych too :-)

Hi Gillian, thank you for the nice comment. I guess I didn't see my part of the challenge to be just one tint ... sorry for the confusion. :)

Hi Isa, thank you for your kind comment and for adding the little lady to your favorites. I have two other Porcelain ladies and they make a nice display of soothing colors, that's why I wanted to put such soft tints of this one. Always appreciate your support for my efforts with the challenges. :) x

Lovely subject. The focusing of the red one on left and that it is red has me scratching my head. It is monotone so your interpretation works at that level.
