Dignity Respect and Care

Dignity Respect and Care
Two of many of the doe's and their fawns we have had as visitors over the years to our yard when we lived in the country. More often than not we had twin fawns each year and we always looked forward each spring to seeing them. They knew they were safe in the yard.

Valfal, Indycaver (Norm), Robert Wilson, Chrissy and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

thank you Pam ... we miss our wildlife visitors but living in town has been a good move for us at this point in our lives. I just hope the new owners of the house appreciate and care for these creatures. :) x

Nice shot of them Chris. We have many that visit us regularly, especially in winter when food supply is short they munch on our yews that we have all around the house.

Hi Merle, I have a ton of image of the wildlife that we enjoyed while living in the country. These creatures sure kept our hedges trim back in the winter as well. They also enjoyed the heated bird bath with its supple of water, thankfully the water was cool enough for them.

Yes they are nice to see but as with any interaction with wildlife we have seen some sad events where because of no fault of their own they have been injured or killed. I am sure you have seen this in the area where you love as well. :(
