Amsterdam Light Festival... 1

The Amsterdam Light Festival illuminates her visitors with colorful works of art in the darkest period of the year. From the 30th of November 2017 to the 21st of January 2018 the sixth edition of the Amsterdam Light Festival will take place. The historic center of Amsterdam will be the atmospheric decor of the International Lighting Festival for 53 days.

The festival brings with it some special surprises. Over 40 artworks and installations by national and international artists, designers and architects will lighten the city of Amsterdam. Among these works is a light object of the world-famous Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei. The Amsterdam Light Festival’s artworks can be admired both on the water and on the land.
